Michael is survived by his mother, LaMoine Smith his wife, Elaine (Maloley) Smith five sisters three brothers daughters Tammara (William) Shelton of Ypsilanti, TeLeah (Grimmon) McDonald of Honokaa, HI sons Michael (Barbara) Smith of Ann Arbor, KiTeya Belford-Smith of Honokaa, HI grandchildren, Charity, Christopher, John, Kira and Sage aunts, uncles and numerous relatives and friends all shared a special place in Michael's heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Smith. Michael Gene Smith, born April 10, 1944, was called home on March 10, 2006, surrounded by his loving family.
